The Tri Tip is a cut of beef from the bottom sirloin. Originating in Oakland, CA in the late 1950's, has grown in popularity in the Mid-West. Rubbed with salt, pepper and garlic and other seasonings, grilled over coals to medium-well doneness is perfect. Also can roast whole in oven or rotisserie for perfect tenderness. These are trimmed and ready for cooking.
